I walked into the predecessor firm to BHAM&M in 1971 as a first year law student to serve as a law clerk and never left. I attribute that primarily to the attorneys with whom I practiced, then and now, and our approach to the practice of law over the years. There is an ongoing pursuit of excellence, whether dealing with a client, opposing counsel, the judiciary or anyone who walks through our doors. This excellence is manifested in knowledgeable, experienced and capable attorneys of exceptional integrity who provide high quality legal services yet use common sense in serving our clients’ needs. My mentor in the practice of law often reminded me to “have a sense of urgency about your client’s business” and that maxim applies whether it involves litigation, transactions or other legal matters. We combine the expertise, specialties and capabilities of a large law firm with the personal approach of a small law firm in order to provide high quality yet efficient legal services to meet the demands and needs of our clients.
